1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser to remember something, such as your preferences.
jcgiusto.com sets no cookies of its own. There are no analytics or advertising tools on this site, so there is nothing to ask your permission for. That is why you don’t see a cookie banner.
The site is run by Juan Cruz Giusto (hey@jcgiusto.com). My contact details are in the Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies on this site
Necessary
None. Reading the posts, taking a download and using the forms all work without cookies.
Analytics
None. There is no Google Analytics or similar tool on this site.
Advertising
None. There is no Meta Pixel or similar tool on this site.
If I ever add an analytics or advertising tool, I will list its cookies here first, and a banner will ask for your permission before it runs.
3. The spam check on the forms
Pages with a form load Cloudflare Turnstile, which tells people from bots. Pages without a form don’t load it.
- It runs inside its own Cloudflare frame and sets no cookies on this site.
- Inside that frame, Cloudflare keeps one small note in your browser’s storage. It belongs to Cloudflare (challenges.cloudflare.com), not to jcgiusto.com.
- To tell people from bots, Cloudflare analyses technical data from your browser.
It is needed to protect the forms.
4. Things that load from other websites
Your browser connects to these other companies’ servers, which see your IP address:
- Cloudflare Turnstile: on pages with a form (see above).
- Images in a few blog posts: some images are stored on Substack and Go-To-Millions and load from there. The Go-To-Millions server can set a Cloudflare cookie called
__cf_bmin your browser. It is for Go-To-Millions’ own bot protection, lasts 30 minutes, and I can’t read it.
The site’s fonts are stored on this site itself, so they don’t connect to anyone else.
Some links take you to other websites: Notion Calendar (to book a call), Notion, Google Sheets and Google Drive (where some downloads live), LinkedIn, X and YouTube. Once you are there, their own cookie policies apply.
5. Your browser settings
You can delete or block cookies in the privacy settings of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Many browsers also block cookies from other websites, like the one above, by default.
6. More information
